TVDb enters episodes twice

Is there a way to update an ongoing TV series from TVDb WITHOUT it inserting the seasons and episodes twice? (Would prefer absolute order as opposed to aired order... but that's just me.)

Is there any chance that Wikipedia will be used to update episodic series in the future?

So far you can't avoid it. If the information of TV series is structured well enough, then you could use it as a source in the future.
