Does anyone know where the program saves your library? I have to reinstall Windows and I really don't want to lose all the work I've done. Unfortunately I can't boot into Windows so I really need to know the exact folder where things are stored on the C Drive.

How to backup Complete Current Database:

Copy these items from this folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\AllMyMovies":

<Name of your DB>.amm (Database)
<Name of your DB>_images (Folder)
Trailers (Folder - IF any)

If you are able to access your registry
Saving Preferences:
Also, if you want to keep your current configuration (Image size, display, etc.), Manually export these two registry keys to save AllMyMovies total preferences:

Note: I periodically make a backup of my DB from inside of AMM, and store it on a flash drive just in case I am faced with this same issue.

I don't see those files in the AllMyMovies install folder at all. Could they be anywhere else?

Can you perform a search for *.amm ?
I chose to install my DB library on a drive (H:\) other than the system drive (C:\). Perhaps you chose a different location as well?

If you can access your registry:
Will tell you the location of your database

For help accessing your registry without Windows OS:

Ok, apparently they were in ProgramData.
I don't see any images, though and I remember seeing images for several programs and films

You wouldn't see images if you are storing them inside of your database. But, if you choose to store them outside of the database (a separate folder) your database will not grow too big for the 2GB limit.

I'm glad that you found your database! Smooth sailing for your new install. :D
