Hello,

I am probably making something wrong but I have following Problem:

whenever a role has an "/" in ist description everything between the "/" and the "(" is duplicated... at some point the actors name is also duplicated. This happens the second I press "O.K." for the first time and each time I edit something for the movie it duplicates even further (see picture)…

What am I doing wrong?

It's a bug in application. I have the same problem. You have to delete all actors and import again from imdb, and not manually edit.

you can import from any other site.

… I think I take another approach:

I will search/replace "/" with "|" in "Word" before saving... so I have to change it only once and not every time I touch the movie in th db

AMM uses "/", "(", and ")" characters as a splitter for the one person details in Actor field.

Here is how it treats it:
FirstName LastName/AlternativeName/(Role)

In case you paste these details manually, you have to avoid these characters in the Actors field.
