Well, you can actually flag multiple books at a time. So, you should select several books, right-click - there appears the menu Set personal marks and Clear personal marks - these options are going to work for all books selected. And one more thing - to do that, you need to activate the option "Multiple books selection" in Preferences.

Regards,

Thank you, I was wondering what was the point of selecting multiple books if you couldn't do anything with them.

Mmm....How does it work? I select multiple books, but when I try to edit, only one bookcard was changed.

Didn't see it in the previous posts, but maybe I missed it...
Nonetheless... I can display the Series column in the List view, but not Volume.
It would be great to, to sort by Series/Volume for example.

Batch editing needed. I have a lot of editing to do for my magazine collection and batch edit will help a lot. Like change price, publisher and subject. Also be capable of save the book or magazine cover as in All my Movies. Also more ways of print reports.

Hi there!
As for print reports, we'll realize that for sure in version 2.0. We'll try to think over batch editing :? . As for cover saving, if you right click on the cover, it can be saved by pressing "Save illustration..."

I'm going to be purchasing your product in a matter of days. Currently I have the trial version--which I think has all the functions save a few as the full version--but here are some of my suggestions:

1. Display Area

---Additional Columns
i. Subject i.e. Fiction, Fantasy, Non-Fiction, etc.
ii. Volume or Series Number
iii. Lent To ~ Show the person’s name who has book on loan
iv. Price ~ Right now price is a huge decimal number like "7.98999977111816" obviously this is way too exact. In the actual book overview it says "7.99". It would be great if in this column it rounded automatically to 2 decimal points.

---Skins
i. All black/darker skin

2. Online Databases

---a.Borders.com (English)

3. View

---a.Sort By – Author’s Last Name
i. Frank Herbert would be in the “H” category not “F”
ii. I don't want to have to put last name first—Author can stay “Frank Herbert” rather than having to list as “Herbert, Frank”.

4.Book Card

---a.General
i. Option to turn off “Rating”

---b.Additional
i.Comments: Turn off auto copy comments from Amazon. It would be nice to leave comments BLANK so I can put my own, I don’t like seeing what random people on Amazon have to say.

---c.Metadata
i. Date Read option

5. Friends Directory

---a.Show books currently on loan

---b.Show books previously on loan; those that have been returned.

6.Statistics

---a.Customizable Statistics
i.Selection of which statistics to show; i.e. Binding type, publisher, year, subject

ii.Additional options I would like to see
--1.Book Values: same set up as Binding Type and other settings
--2.Total number of pages in collection; This could be included in the very top box of the Statistics page with “Total Library Value”

Oh I was also wondering if there was going to be Windows 7 functionality as well, I'm going to be upgrading my computer soon so it'd be awesome if AMB worked on there too!

Ahh, yeah see on the System Requirements for the software it doesn't have it listed so I wasn't sure if they had it set up to work on Win 7 yet! Thanks for the info Nynaevelan!

Such error can arise in case you start the program through remote desktop. Unfortunately, we can't fix it..
