Dragging the slider does nothing

When I view the list of authors on the left hand side and I drag the slider it does nothing. This has been so for a long time (if I am not mistaken even in version 1) and has bothered me ever since.

What is the point of a vertical slider if, when you drag it, it doesn't slide the content of the frame.

Could this be fixed please?

Martin, which mode is it?
Is it about grouping by authors?

Well it seems to make no difference which mode I am in. It happens with all options under the Group Books By setting.

Strangely enough the options under Sort books by doesn't seem to have this issue.

Added:

Group Groups By - every word starts with a capital letter
Sort books by - only the first word starts with a capital

Looks a bit strange:-)
