Is it possible in this version to search by blank entries in different fields?

You mean, for example, find all movies with an empty Director field?
This is not possible in the current version.

The only empty fields you can filter by are the URL and Local Path.
Press CTRL-F10 and CTRL-F11 to show movies with these empty fields.
Sutiable for locating movies without online bases details

Display only movies with sertain blank fields, a wanted feature here aswell.
