You can just use the installer from the website and install it.

What seems to be the problem with that?

The problem with that is your data base full of books is no longer there.

If it is where is it?

Also how do I re-instate my licence?

Which version are you currently using? And what exactly is wrong with your database?
Generally, to reinstall the software, you need to download the installation file from our website (the version you've got the license for) and install it once again.

My receipt or my licence does not say which version it is.
Just a copywrite year of 2008 to 2010.

I had to re-format my hard drive so I backed up my 'All My Books' onto a memory stick. However, when I reinstalled it and put my registration code back in my data bases that I created are no longer there!

'All My Books' is empty except for the sample. :(

Maybe a stupid question but did you open up your database?

Menu > Database > Open

and search for your backed up database.

Yes I did and all that is in there is an empty folder named reports and the sample database.

And in what way did you make your backup? Menu Database-Backup?

It just seems that you made a backup in a wrong way, since reports can't get into backup, if you do it using Database-Backup.
Have you got access to your old hard drive or not? It feels as if you copied the folder from, say, Program Files, and the database isn't stored there. It is either in Documents\AllMyMovies or in Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\AllMyMovies\
